Several yacht owners stormed down the gangway, faces green and furious. “You can’t do this!” one shouted. Elias pointed to the posted notice. “I can.” Another yelled that his upholstery would be ruined. Elias said calmly, “Then I’d move before the next barrel.”
Callum arrived ten minutes later, moving slowly, as if giving everyone time to understand the situation. Lila ran to him, eyes watering. “Make them stop!” she begged. Callum read the notice already posted on the piling. “Commercial operation,” he said. “Properly filed.”
